None of us can predict the future. This just lets us know, gently and only when it's truly needed, who in your life should be told -- and after how long.
Counted from the moment we first check in on you. They'll get a link to quietly confirm you're fine -- no vault data is ever included.
Counted from when your trusted people were alerted. This is permanent and cannot be undone -- leave this on "Not for now" unless you're sure.
The accent this Safe is styled in. Saved to your account, so it follows you to any device you sign in on.
Save your whole Safe — every entry and attachment — to one password-locked file you keep yourself, or restore from a file you (or a trusted person) exported earlier. The file password is separate from your vault password.
A plain-language summary of everything in your Safe — what you have, where to find it, who to contact — written for the people who will need it. It holds no password and no encrypted data. Keep it with your backup file and your will.
The app works without any of these. Each is a separate choice you can change at any time. Turning one off stops that use immediately and deletes what it collected. See the Privacy Notice.
Lets us see which categories are used and how many entries people keep — never their contents. Helps us decide what to build next.
Stores just your first name on our server so emails can say “Hi Asha” instead of your email address. Off means we null it and address you generically.
Delivers the notification bell and check-in reminders to this device. Off deletes the push subscription.
Lets "Start from a document" send the file you pick to Google Cloud (Vertex AI) to read it and pre-fill an entry, which you review before saving. Off by default. Nothing is ever stored — not the file, not what it read.
Your device works out a few rough indicators — a wealth band (low/medium/high), roughly how many insurance policies you hold and when the nearest one expires, and which banks you use — without ever telling us the actual amounts, policy details, or account numbers. We only ever see these coarse figures, combined with thousands of other accounts, never singled out. Off by default. Off deletes what was already shared.
With your permission, your browser tells us your device's approximate position on each sign-in. We use it only to look up the matching PIN code, city and state from India's public postal directory — your coordinates never leave your device, and the address we work out is stored the same encrypted way as everything else in your Safe. Off by default. Off deletes what was already saved this way.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act you can see, correct, and erase the readable account data we hold about you. Your Safe's contents are end-to-end encrypted and are not part of this — use “Import backup” / a trustee export for those.
A read-only record of security and rights activity on your account — signing in, consent changes, data exports, grievances, and trusted-person actions. This does not include how you use the app day to day.
Receipts for your most recent plan payments. Every payment you've ever made stays on record — this shows the last 3; contact support for anything older.
Know someone who'd want their own Safe? Enter their email and we'll send them a code for a free month, good for their account only.
Someone who can exercise these data rights for you if you die or become incapable. This is not a “trusted person” who holds a key to your Safe — different job. TODO(counsel): the proof-of-event process.
If something about how your data is handled is wrong, tell us here. You'll get a reference number and a response within the published time. If it's not resolved, you can escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
