ΛMΛNΛT helps you keep a private record of accounts, policies and instructions for your family, and lets you choose people you trust to help them reach it if you're ever unreachable. It is a record-keeping and access tool -- it is not a bank, an insurer, a law firm, or an executor, and it does not hold, manage or protect any money, property or account on your behalf.
Everything you type into your Safe -- account numbers, policy details, instructions, anything else -- is provided by you, and we have no way to check whether it's accurate, current or complete, since we can never read it. Keeping this information correct and up to date is entirely your responsibility.
We don't contact your bank, insurer, employer or anyone else for you, and we don't take any action to help you or your family actually claim, access or act on anything listed in your Safe. Our role begins and ends with keeping your record safe and helping the people you trust get access to it -- what they do next is between them and the institutions involved.
Naming someone as a trusted person or contact inside your Safe gives them a way to access your records -- it does not make them a legal heir, executor or owner of any account, policy, property or asset. Nomination and inheritance are separate matters in law. If you want your wishes about who receives what to be legally binding, you need a valid will, and in many cases separate nomination filings with each institution -- please consult a qualified lawyer for this. We do not provide legal, financial or tax advice, and nothing in your Safe is a substitute for one.
Your entries are encrypted on your own device before they ever reach our servers, using a key derived from your passphrase. We never receive your passphrase and never hold a copy of your data key, so we have no technical ability to read, recover or hand over your information to anyone, including you, your family, or under a court order. This also means: if your Safe is ever seen by someone else, it is because of a passphrase, device, trusted person or recovery answer that you chose to set up or share -- not because of anything on our end. Choosing who to trust, and keeping your passphrase and devices secure, is entirely your responsibility.
The check-in and trusted-people alerts are a best-effort courtesy, not a guarantee. Emails can fail to send or land in spam, contact details can go out of date, and a trusted person may be unreachable, unwilling or unable to act when the time comes. We are not responsible for a missed, delayed or failed notification, or for any consequence of your family not being informed in time. Please also tell your trusted people directly that you've listed them, and keep their contact details current.
Because we never see your passphrase, we cannot reset it for you. If you forget it and haven't set up security questions or trusted-person recovery, the contents of your Safe cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. Setting up a recovery method is optional, and entirely your decision.
ΛMΛNΛT is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We use industry-standard encryption and follow good security practice, but no online service can guarantee absolute security, and we don't promise one.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss -- including loss of data, missed inheritance, financial loss, or family disputes -- arising from your use of ΛMΛNΛT. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees, if any, you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You agree to use ΛMΛNΛT only for lawful purposes, to provide accurate information about yourself, and not to use it to store or share anything illegal, or to impersonate someone else. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to create a Safe.
We may update these terms from time to time -- for example, as the app grows or as laws change. If we make a material change, we'll show you a notice the next time you log in. Continuing to use ΛMΛNΛT after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
This page is a plain-language summary, written to be clear rather than to use technical legal wording -- it isn't legal, financial or tax advice, to you or about you. If the Hindi or Marathi version ever reads differently from the English version, the English version applies.
You set a password. Only you know it — we never see it, and we can't send it back to you if it's lost.
Everything you save is locked automatically, right on your phone, before it ever reaches us.
Choose people you trust. If something ever happens to you, they can help your family get in — no one else, ever, can.
Not stored anywhere — not on this server, not in a database. It only ever exists in your head and, for a moment, in your browser.
Your passphrase gets scrambled through a slow math process (right there on your device) into a long, random-looking key. This key is what actually locks and unlocks your vault — your passphrase is just how you prove you know it.
Organized into categories on the left. Each entry can hold text fields, dates, notes, and attached documents (photos, PDFs — up to 10MB per category).
Every entry and every attachment is scrambled (AES-256 — the same strength banks use) using your secret key before it's sent anywhere. What actually reaches this server is unreadable noise.
It only ever stores the scrambled version. Nobody — not us, not anyone who broke into the server — can make sense of your vault without your secret key. There's no "forgot passphrase, we'll email it to you" — because we genuinely never had it.
You can split your secret key into pieces and hand them to people you trust. No single guardian can open your vault alone — only when enough of them come together can the key be rebuilt. If you go quiet for a long stretch, we email you first — only if you never respond do your guardians get notified.
Email isn't configured on this server yet, so check-in alerts and test emails won't send — but you can still save trusted people here.
Add anyone you'd trust to help your family. This is also who gets a check-in alert if you ever go quiet.
Saved.
Paste share lines here to confirm they work, against the vault you already have open. This is for checking your own setup — real trusted people recovering a locked vault use "Recover with trusted-person shares?" on the lock screen instead, where they don't need to sign in first.
None of us can predict the future. This just lets us know, gently and only when it's truly needed, who in your life should be told -- and after how long.
Counted from the moment we first check in on you. They'll get a link to quietly confirm you're fine -- no vault data is ever included.
Counted from when your trusted people were alerted. This is permanent and cannot be undone -- leave this on "Not for now" unless you're sure.
